2. Booking & Payment

• Reservations must be made through our official website, authorized travel partners, or direct communication channels.
• Advance payment is required to secure bookings.
• All rates are subject to applicable taxes and may vary during peak seasons or special events.

3. Guest Responsibilities

• Guests must provide accurate personal details at the time of booking.
• Valid identification (government‑issued ID/passport) is required at check‑in.
• Guests are expected to respect the property, staff, and fellow guests. Any damage caused will be charged to the guest.

4. Check‑In & Check‑Out

• Standard check‑in time: 12:00 PM; check‑out time: 11:00 AM.
• Early check‑in or late check‑out is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

5. Cancellation & Refunds

• Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy.
• No‑show bookings will be charged in full.

6. Liability Disclaimer

• Serene Homestay is not liable for:
  • Loss of personal belongings during the stay.
  • Injuries, accidents, or medical emergencies occurring on the premises.
  • Service interruptions caused by events beyond our control (natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions).

8. Force Majeure

Serene Homestay shall not be held responsible for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including natural calamities, pandemics, or government actions.

• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Darjeeling, West Bengal.
